Coaching Packages
PGA of Canada Class "A" — 20+ years
A PGA of Canada Class "A" member for over 20 years. Before becoming a founding partner of Sligo Wear golf apparel, Shawn spent his time instructing at the world-renowned Pulpit Club in Caledon, Ontario under the mentorship of PGA of Canada Hall of Fame member Ben Kern. Shawn enjoys passing on his passion and knowledge of the game to everyone he teaches, regardless of experience or age.
Class A — PGA of Canada
Kieran began his coaching career in 2009 and has worked at several esteemed clubs including Oviinbyrd Golf Club, McArthur Golf Club (Jupiter, FL), Muskoka Bay Club, Maple Downs Golf & Country Club, Emerald Hills, Brampton Golf Club, and the Henry Brunton Golf Academy at Eagles Nest. Most recently he served as Director of Instruction for Modern Golf in Toronto. He possesses a formidable grasp of the mechanics and fundamentals of all parts of the game, with elite navigation of the full swing and short game. His communication is simple and precise, marrying traditional and modern terminology for a comprehensive approach to each player. Kieran caters to the unique learning preferences and true needs of each student — the opposite of a one-size-fits-all approach — and promises every student his complete support and attention in the joint pursuit of their goals.
Competitive Coach
Bess has been playing competitive golf for over 15 years, with tournament and training experience across Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States, and Canada. She is a former member of the UBC Okanagan Women's Golf Team and a graduate of the International Junior Golf Academy in Florida. Growing up with golf and competing in different countries has exposed her to a variety of coaching styles, playing conditions, and competitive environments. As a coach, Bess focuses on helping golfers build strong fundamentals, better understand their own swing, and develop confidence both on the practice range and on the course. Originally from Hong Kong, Bess is a native Cantonese speaker and is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is comfortable coaching and communicating with golfers of different ages, skill levels, and backgrounds.
